New documentary on Khalkhin Gol Battles currently in production by Lenfilm Studio

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Production of a documentary film about the Khalkhin Gol Battles by Lenfilm Studio of the Russian Federation will finish by December 20, reports the production team.


Film producer Andrei Egorov said, “We are currently making a film about the heroic events that took place in Khalkhgol. Very rare materials that are of the battles are being used for the film. Rare photography, video, and items never before shown to public, were given by Imperial Russian Historical Society and previous Ambassador of Mongolia to the Russian Federation B.Delgermaa. The filming and editing will complete by December 20.”
