Construction project to be financed by Export-Import Bank of South Korea

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. To provide citizens with affordable apartments in order to reduce the pollution of Ulaanbaatar, discussions have been held for the financing of the construction project for 5,002 households in Khan-Uul district with the Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM) from the first quarter of 2019.
As the result of several meetings held between the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Construction and Urban Development, State Housing Corporation of Mongolia, and KEXIM, the sides had agreed on works to be jointly implemented in the project framework and it has been made official, with the signing of the meeting protocol on November 28.
State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance S.Narantsogt, State Secretary of the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development S.Magnaisuren, and KEXIM Asia Director Koo Bon Yong signed the protocol.
