Ambassador to Russia meets Gubkin University Rector

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation D.Davaa on September 29 met with Rector of the Russian National University of Oil and Gas, Gubkin University, Viktor Georgievich Martynov to discuss training of Mongolian professionals at the university.
Noting that studies and preparations of the project on building natural gas pipeline between Russia and China through the territory of Mongolia, Ambassador D.Davaa spoke of some measures to be taken in order to train Mongolian engineers, technicians, and other professionals who work on the project at the university.
Ms. V.G.Martynov emphasized that 137 petroleum specialists and 6 scholars from Mongolia have so far graduated from the university and expressed readiness to train Mongolian specialists in natural gas technology.
