Mongolia-Cuba Parliamentary Group Chair meets Cuban Ambassador

Parliamentary Group B.Bat-Erdene met with Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to
Mongolia Raul Delgado Concepcion to exchange views on enhancing trade, economic cooperation, and business ties between the two countries and promoting
heritage tourism.
At the meeting, Ambassador Raul Delgado Concepcion said a
number of activities and events planned for the 60th anniversary of
the diplomatic relations between the two countries which falls this year have
been successfully carried out even amid the pandemic thanks to the efforts of
the two sides. Specifically, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Governor’s Office
of the Capital City and the Association of Mongolian Graduates in Cuba jointly established
a ‘Garden of Friendship’ at the National Garden Park in May and the Secret History
of the Mongols was translated to Spanish on the occasion of the anniversary.
MP B.Bat-Erdene emphasized that the legislatures of the two countries have an
important role in deepening bilateral relations and cooperation and that the
Mongolia-Cuba Parliamentary Group will support every cooperation proposal and initiative.
Stressing the expansion of bilateral cooperation in health care, education, culture, and sports, the Cuban Ambassador said Cuba approved its current constitution in 2019, reshaping its economy and improving its investment climate.
