Ambassador Tumur pays courtesy call on Prime Minister of Thailand

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On 6 January 2021, H.E. Mr. Tumur Amarsanaa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Thailand, paid a courtesy call on General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Thailand.


During the meeting, both sides agreed to expand bilateral cooperation, establish a five-year work plan to enhance trade and economic relations, sign several international agreements between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the Kingdom Thailand to improve trade and investment conditions for citizens and investors.


Moreover, the two sides exchanged views on training people in the health and agriculture sector, active dialogue and cooperation through ASEAN, organizing high-level reciprocal visits, Thai Government's policy to combat the COVID-19 epidemic, and vaccination.


At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of Mongolia invited the Thai side to participate in the “Khaan Quest” exercise to be held in 2021.
