Cooperation between Culture and Construction Ministries discussed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Minister of Culture Ch.Nomin held a meeting with Minister of Construction and Urban Development B.Munkhbaatar and other government officials on March 01.
Minister of Culture Ch.Nomin said that despite the difficult situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the construction of cultural facilities is progressing according to the appropriate regime, and expressed her readiness to work closely to intensify cooperation between the government ministries.
The parties will pay special attention to the development of the cultural sector and the quality of construction, and set up a joint working group.
Among ongoing major cultural developments are constructions of Chinggis Khaan Royal Museum and National Library, which are scheduled to open in 2021, and the Natural History Museum, National Archeology and Ethnography Museum and its laboratory are under construction. Constructions of the national theater and children's library are scheduled to begin this year.
