Regulation for Operative Team of State Emergency Commission revised

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the State Emergency Commission S. Amarsaikhan has issued an order to approve an updated regulation for the work of COVID-19 Operative Team of the State Emergency Commission. 


The Head of the State Emergency Commission will be responsible for the overall policy and strategic management and the head of the operative team will bear the responsibility of daily operations of the operative staff. 


The revised regulation lays out that a working group made up of advisors, experts and government deputy ministers in charge of social and economic policy, health assistance and services and risks to work under the operative team’s head to provide professional, methodological and policy support. 


The operative team will be comprised of representatives from the national authority in charge of emergency management, officials in position of decision-making from corresponding government agencies and Mongolian Red Cross Society representatives. 


The operative team of the State Emergency Commission was established at the National Emergency Management Agency on March 12, 2020 in connection with the first imported cases registered in Mongolia. The operative team has been working to coordinate and ensure effective implemenation of the decisions made by the State Emergency Commission.
