Mongolia participates in Holiday&Spa International Fair

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The
Embassy of Mongolia in Bulgaria together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
Ministry of Environment and Tourism and the Tourism Development Center promoted
Mongolia at the 38th Holiday&Spa International Fair held in Sofia on
February 24-25 under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism of Bulgaria.
Around 11 thousand people
stopped by the Mongolian booth at the fair that was participated by over 200
businesses from 20 countries, receiving information about the development
trends, culture, tourism, and arts in Mongolia and the country’s products.
Moreover, the visitors saw the
beautiful landscapes and historical exhibits from across 21 aimags of Mongolia through
virtual reality as part of the Virtual Mongolia project co-implemented by the
Digital Solutions start-up, Tourism Development Center and the Swiss
Cooperation Agency.
During
the event, Ambassador of Mongolia to Bulgaria L.Sayanaa held a meeting with the
country’s Minister of Tourism Hristo Prodanov to exchange views on developing cooperation
between the two countries in tourism, establishing partnerships between public
and private tourism organizations, and implementing projects and programs to
increase tourist flows between the two countries.
