Cooperation to be developed with UN to improve citizens’ digital skills

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. UN Resident Coordinator Tapan Mishra
visited the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications and the E-Mongolia
Center.
During the visit, he met with the State Secretary of the
Ministry B.Bolor-Erdene and agreed to cooperate in three areas. In specific,
the parties will work together to ensure the participation of citizens in the
delivery of communication and information technology services, particularly the
creation of training content for target groups, the development of training
content to improve citizens' digital skills, and its delivery to
citizens. They also agreed to co-organize the International e-Governance
Forum. During the forum, Mongolia’s best practices of developing its e-governance
will be presented to UN member states and developing countries.
In addition, Mr. Tapan Mishra became acquainted with the
E-Mongolia Center at the Central Post Office.
The E-Mongolia Center, opened on May 9, 2021, provides
online services of government organizations and gives guidance and information
to citizens.
