Bolor-Erdene and Surenjav Secure Paralympic Participation Rights for "Paris-2024"

Ulaanbaatar, January 15, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Yesterday, International Taekwon-Do Federation announced the athletes who received the right to participate in the “Paris-2024” Summer Paralympic Games.


From Mongolia, two athletes have secured a place in the Paralympic Games. In the men’s 63 kg category, G.Bolor-Erdene, a five-time World and Asian Champion, Champion of the Asian Games, and Honored Athlete of Mongolia, will be competing. In the women’s 52 kg category, U.Surenjav, a World Bronze Medalist and Silver Medalist of the Asian Games, will represent Mongolia.


For G.Bolor-Erdene, this marks his second time competing in the Paralympic arena. This time he will fight to stand on the medal stand. U.Surenjav will take part in the Summer Paralympics for the first time, which will be "Paris-2024".


They are the first Mongolian taekwondo athletes to qualify for the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games.
