Ambassador Badral Presents His Letter of Credence to the President of Pakistan

Ulaanbaatar, February 6, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Badral Tuvshin presented his Letter of Credence to the President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi on February 1, 2024, in Islamabad, Islamic Republic of Pakistan.


President Dr. Arif Alvi received Ambassador Badral Tuvshin, and the parties exchanged detailed views on the relations and cooperation between the two countries during the meeting.


At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador Badral conveyed the greetings of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and confirmed Mongolia's desire to develop mutually beneficial cooperation with Pakistan. In this context, he expressed interest in collaborating with Pakistan in road transport, agriculture, and mining, and proposed expanding the mechanism of political consultations between the foreign ministries of both countries.


President Dr. Arif Alvi congratulated Ambassador Badral on officially commencing his duties as the Non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. President Dr. Arif Alvi emphasized his commitment to providing all-round support for the development of relations between the two countries and wished Ambassador Badral success in his work.


Mongolia established diplomatic relations with Pakistan on July 6, 1962. Additionally, dual accreditation to serve as the Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is granted to the Mongolian Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China.
