Mongolian Border Guards Earn Two Golds and One Silver from World Championship

Ulaanbaatar, August 29, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The World Kettlebell Sport Championship 2024 was held in Cholpon Ata of the Kyrgyz Republic on August 21-26, 2024.


At the Championship, B. Bayarsaikhan, a Junior Sergeant of the 0208th Special Unit of Border Troops of Mongolia and an athlete of the Khilchin Sports Club of Mongolia, earned two gold medals for bench press and deadlift in the 68 kg category. Also, Sergeant of the 0245th Border Troops Regiment of Mongolia Ts. Nansalmaa claimed a silver medal in the 58 kg biathlon.


This year, more than 900 athletes from 36 countries competed in the World Kettlebell Sport Championship, which has been organized since 1982.
