"KOREA WEEK 2024" Held at Sukhbaatar Square

Ulaanbaatar, September 2, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The Governor’s Office of the Capital City of Mongolia, the Ulaanbaatar City Tourism Department, and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Mongolia jointly organized the “KOREA WEEK 2024” cultural event from August 30 to September 1, 2024. 


At the “KOREA WEEK 2024”, representatives of 25 companies from North Gyeongsang and Jeonnam provinces of the Republic of Korea and over 60 Korean companies that operate in food and cosmetics fields in Mongolia offered their services and products to visitors. South Korean traditional dance band “Yun Myung Hwa Ensemble” and the “nuMori” live music band performed at the Korean cultural festival. Additionally, performances of Korean folk art, electronic folk music, and Jindo drum dance, and a taekwondo demonstration took place at the “KOREA WEEK 2024.”


Furthermore, taekwondo and Korean traditional dance joint performances, a K-pop dance performance, an “Open-Mic” and competitive eating competitions took place. Visitors of the “KOREA WEEK 2024” took part in raffles for a chance to win a K-pop concert ticket and a round-trip airline ticket to South Korea.
