President of Mongolia Arrives in the Czech Republic for a State Visit

Prague, March 10, 2025 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa arrived in Prague, the Czech Republic, for a State Visit on March 9, 2025.

Upon their arrival at Prague's Václav Havel International Airport, President Khurelsukh and the Mongolian delegation were welcomed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavský, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Czech Republic Gansukh Damdin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Mongolia Jan Vytopil, Director of the Protocol Department of the Office of the President of the Czech Republic Tomáš Pernický, and diplomatic staff from the Embassy of Mongolia in the Czech Republic.


This State Visit is taking place as part of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and it marks the first Head of State level visit from Mongolia to the Czech Republic in ten years.

During the State Visit, the two Heads of State will hold tête-à-tête, official talks, and give press briefings. The two sides plan to elevate traditional and friendly relationship between the two countries, signing intergovernmental agreements and institutional cooperation documents in education, environment, agriculture, sports, and legal affairs.
