Ulaanbaatar, June 2, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Summary of events for the week of June 2-8, 2025.

 

At the invitation of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow is paying a State Visit to Mongolia on June 1-2, 2025.

 

Events in Ulaanbaatar:

June 2: A meeting of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) and (Democratic Party) DP groups in the State Great Khural will be held.

June 2: Banking Sector Employee Day is celebrated.

June 2: The Mongolian-Turkmenistan Business Forum will be held at the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.



June 4: A regular session of the Cabinet will be held in the State Palace of Mongolia.

June 4: One of the series of public lectures will be delivered by Agata-Bareja-Starzynska, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the University of Warsaw, Poland, at the Chinggis Khaan National Museum.

June 5: World Environment Day will be observed.

June 5-6: The Plenary session of the State Great Khural will be held at the State Palace of Mongolia.

June 5-6: The 10th “Ulaanbaatar Dialogue on Northeast Asian Security" International Conference will be held.

June 7: World Food Security Day.

June 7: Veterinary Workers’ Day.

June 7: Puccini’s opera “Madama Butterfly” will be performed at the State Opera and Ballet Academic Theatre

June 8: World Oceans Day.

The Mongolian Association of Professional Tree Nurseries and Landscaping Organizations is hosting the “Modlog Garden Expo,” a reforestation and landscaping exhibition and fair, at IC Park in Yaarmag, running through the end of June.

 

Local Events:

June 6-7: The annual "Selenge Marathon-2025" will be held in Sukhbaatar soum, Sukhbaatar aimag.

The Museum of Arkhangai Aimag is hosting the temporary exhibition "Closer to Nature" until July 28.




Events Abroad:


The “Chinggis Khaan” International Exhibition will be on display at the Czech National Museum in Prague, the Czech Republic, until June 22, 2025.
