His Majesty Emperor Naruhito and Her Majesty Empress Masako to Pay State Visit to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, June 20, 2025 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of the President of Mongolia H.E. Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, His Majesty Emperor Naruhito of Japan and Her Majesty Empress Masako of Japan will pay a State Visit to Mongolia on July 6-13, 2025.
President
of Mongolia H.E. Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and His Majesty Emperor Naruhito will hold official
talks to discuss deepening bilateral friendly relations and enduring friendship
between the peoples of the two countries. His Majesty Emperor Naruhito and Her
Majesty Empress Masako will attend the Opening Ceremony of the National Naadam
Festival and other ceremonial events as Guests of Honor.
This
historic State Visit will serve as a significant milestone in further deepening
the “Special Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity” between Mongolia
and Japan, which share common democratic values, and making a valuable
contribution to strengthening “people-centered” relations and cooperation. His
Majesty Emperor Naruhito of Japan paid an official visit to Mongolia, as the
Crown Prince, in 2007 to mark the 35th anniversary of the establishment of
diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Japan.
The
visit marks the first State Visit by His Majesty Emperor Naruhito of Japan and
Her Majesty Empress Masako of Japan to Mongolia, reported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
