New Apartment Prices Rise 11 Percent

Ulaanbaatar, December 15, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The housing price index reached 1.37 in November 2025, marking a 12.7-percent increase compared to the same period of 2024.
In Sukhbaatar district, the average price per square meter of new apartments is the highest, at MNT 5.9 million.
Compared with the same period of 2024, the average price of new apartments rose the most in Songinokhairkhan district, by 6.9 percent, while the smallest increase was recorded in Chingeltei district, at 0.2 percent.
In Sukhbaatar district, the average price per square meter of old apartments stands at MNT 4.97 million.
Compared with the same period of 2024, the average price of old apartments increased the most in Khan-Uul district, by 18.8 percent, while the smallest increase was registered in Bayangol district, at 10.2 percent.
Overall,
prices of new apartments rose by 11 percent year-on-year, while prices of old
apartments increased by 13.9 percent.
