Births decrease in September
At the national level in the first 9 months of 2019, 58.1 thousand mothers delivered 58.5 thousand babies (live births), increased by 488 mothers (0.8%) and 563 live births (1.0%) compared to the same period of the previous year.

Nighttime electricity tariff discount to be available from November 1
As a result of the construction of heating pipelines and sub-stations made with the investment of 2017-2018 state budget, a total of 139 buildings and facilities were connected to the central heating system. It has contributed to reduce coal consumption by 52.5 thousand tons. In 2018-2019, 171 ordinary and low pressure stoves were closed and buildings of 210 individuals and entities were connected to the central heating, noted Deputy Prime Minister U.Enkhtuvshin.

Nationwide harvesting reported
During the spring sowing 2019, 512.0 thousand hectares were cultivated for crop, including 364.8 thousand hectares for grain of which 340.0 thousand hectares were for wheat; 14.8 thousand hectares for potatoes, 8.0 thousand hectares for vegetables, 82.4 thousand hectares for oil plants and 42.0 thousand hectares for fodder plants.

27.2 thousand tons of meat exported
According to the statistics of customs office, a total of 27.2 thousand tons of meat, including 13.5 thousand tons of horse meat, 1045 tons of mutton and goat meat, 855 tons of by-products and 11.8 thousand tons of heat-processed meat has been exported in the first nine months of this year.
