Nighttime temperatures to drop below 30 Celsius
WeatherUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Snowfall and blizzards are expected in northern region on December 23 and 24 and in eastern region on December 25 and 26. Winds will get stronger in some regions on December 23-25, reaching 12-14 m/sec.
Temperatures will drop. The nighttime temperature will be -44-39 Celsius, and the daytime, -33-28, around Uvs Lake and the depression of Darkhad, and in the banks of Khuren belchir, Ider and Tes rivers.
In the banks of Orkhon-Selenge, Kharaa, Eroo, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, Ulz and Khalkh rivers, the nighttime temperature will be -38-33, and the daytime, -26-21.
In southern part of the Gobi, the nighttime temperature will be -25-20, and the daytime, -14-9.
In other regions, the nighttime temperature will be -31-26, and the daytime, -21-16 Celsius.
Daytime temperatures will slightly rise in western region on December 25 and 26.
