Warmer temperatures to return in most parts of the country

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The National Agency for Meteorology and Environment has reported that warmer temperatures will return in most parts of the country in the coming days.
Precipitation is expected in the mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentei on May 17, in the mountainous areas of Khangai and Khentei on May 18, and in the Altai and Khangai areas on May 19 and 20.
Wind speed will be mostly 6-11 m/sec between May 17 and 21.
With warmer temperatures throughout the country, in the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentei, in the basins of Ider, Zavkhan, Baidrag, Tuul, and Terelj rivers, the temperature will range from -1 to +4 degrees Celsius during the night, and +17 to +22 during the day.
In the depression of the Great Lakes, in the southern Gobi region, and in the basins of Orkhon-Selenge, the nighttime temperature will be +9 to +14 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +26 to +31 degrees Celsius.
In other areas, temperatures are expected to be +4 to +9 during the night, and +22 to +27 during the day.
