Cooler temperatures expected in most parts of the country

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Temperatures are expected to drop in most parts of the country as precipitation has been forecasted in the country’s eastern region tomorrow on May 5.
Showers and wet snow are expected in some parts of central aimags, most parts of eastern aimags tomorrow on May 5, in eastern parts of eastern aimags on May 6, and in northern parts of western aimags and northwestern parts of central aimags on May 8.
Wind speed will reach 16-18 m/sec in the country’s eastern region on May 5 and 6, and in most parts of the country on May 8.
With temperature drops in most parts of the country on May 5, and in the eastern region on May 6, in the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentei, in the depression of Darkhad, and in the basins of Zavkhan, Ider, Tes, Baidrag, Tuul, and Terelj rivers, the temperature will range from -5 to -10 degrees Celsius during the night, and +2 to +7 during the day.
In the southern Gobi region, the nighttime temperature will be +1 to +6 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +7 to +12 degrees Celsius.
Warmer temperatures are expected to return from May 7.
