Veterinary hospitals in Uvurkhangai aimag receive equipment from USAID

Uvurkhangai /MONTSAME/ Veterinary hospitals in 10 soums of Uvurkhangai aimag received equipment needed for their operations through the non-refundable aid from the U.S. Agency for International Development in Mongolia (USAID Mongolia) last week. The USAID Mongolia assistance for Uvurkhangai aimag totaled MNT 50 million, including laboratory equipment, metal fences and others.
Within the framework of a tender announced by Mercy Corps Mongolia aimed at protecting and supporting the livelihood of residents and herders facing harsh winter disaster, a number projects in 10 aimags have been carried-out and non-refundable aids of equipment worth around 500 million MNT were provided.
Among those 10 projects, a project submitted by Zos Khangai veterinary clinic was selected to receive the aforementioned much-needed assistance useful for making livestock animals healthy and preventing from diseases.
