NEMA officers participate in exercise in China

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Led by NEMA Deputy Director Colonel B.Uuganbayar, team of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) participated in exercise themed ‘Actions to eliminate earthquake consequences and strengthening capacity’ which was organized in Beijing, China.

The exercise was jointly held by China Earthquake Administration and National Disaster Reduction Center and attended by 40 participants from Mongolia, Indonesia, Cambodia and Malaysia.

The attendees shared their knowledge and experience on measures to take during earthquake, search-and-rescue operation, rescue operation in narrow space and rescue from height.
