Mongolia to expand tourism cooperation with Turkey

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Environment and Tourism, N.Tserenbat received Ahmet Yazal, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia. During the meeting Minister of Environment and Tourism, N.Tserenbat expressed Mongolia's interest to expand bilateral cooperation in tourism and learn from Turkey’s experience.
Ambassador Ahmet Yazal emphasized that Turkish people have a great interest in traveling to Mongolia and expressed that he will always be happy to cooperate with Mongolia in the tourism sector. At the end of the meeting he said “I exchanged views with the Minister of Road Transport on expressing the willingness to introduce Turkish Airlines company to the Mongolian aviation sector. We hope that it will be a big boost to tourism of Mongolia. I will be grateful for your attention on this issue as a Minister for Tourism.”
“Government of Mongolia is working on developing drafts on aviation liberalization. It is planned that the policy document will be issued this year. Therefore, I believe that tourism will make a good progress” said the Minister of Environment and Tourism, N.Tserenbat in return.
