Living Planet Report 2018 presented in Khovd aimag

Khovd /MONTSAME/ An introduction event of the ‘Living Planet Report 2018’ of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) was held in Khovd aimag on January 16.
When presenting the report to the public, WWF-Mongolia Conservation director B.Chimeddorj emphasized that the public initiative, engagement and leadership are of great importance to immortalize pristine and untouched lands, rich history and culture of Mongolia as well as to preserve the environment and animals.
Representatives from various local organizations working in the fields of environment, project and program and law attended the event, where they exchanged views on biodiversity, factors affecting the biodiversity, intensification of works for prevention of environmental crime, and improving cooperation and integration actions among organizations.
