Mongolian team becomes champion of Asian University 3x3 Basketball Championship

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. ‘Mon-Altius’ men’s team of the National Institute of Physical Education became a champion of the Asian University 3x3 Basketball Championship, held on May 8-11 in Kinmen, Taiwan.
‘Mon-Altius’
team defeated teams of Malaysia, Hong Kong and S.Korea, but lost to Taiwan,
resulted in taking 2nd in its Pool A.
On
May 11, the Mongolian team won Indonesian team, thus it needed to have a play
with Taiwanese team for the second time. In the match, the Mongolian team
defeated its opponent by 20:12, becoming the Asian champion.
