One stop service center for survivors of violence opens

Dornod /MONTSAME/. A 24/7 one-stop service center to assist survivors of violence in health care and give legal assistance was opened in Dornod aimag.


Established with financing from the UNFPA, the aims of the one-stop service center are to prevent abuse and violation of citizens’ rights as well as to protect citizens and create a safe environment with no risk of life endangerment.

Deputy Governor of Dornod aimag Sh.Yol and Head of UNFPA Office in Mongolia Kaori Ishikawa attended the opening ceremony. The local Family, Children and Youth Development Department will be in charge of the center’s operations.
