Fifth stage of Silk Way Rally takes place in Mandalgobi city

Dundgobi /MONTSAME/. At the fifth stage of the Silk Way Rally, the participants drove through the Tsagaandelger, Deren, and Saintsagaan soums of Dundgobi aimag from the capital city on July 11. They then went onto the starting point of their next stage the next morning on July 12.
Over 20 motorbikes and about 60 cars including over 10 trucks are racing in the rally, which is taking place in Russia, Mongolia and China. 15 athletes are representing Mongolia in the international rally.
The locals were able to see the cars and motorbikes being used in the race and watch them as they took off from the starting point during the two days the rally participants were in the aimag.
