MP B.Batzorig meets Member of ROK National Assembly Won Yoo-chul

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On September 16, Head of Mongolia-South Korea parliamentary group, MP B.Batzorig received delegates headed by Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Won Yoo-chul. At the meeting, the parties talked about the 19th Asian-Pacific Parliamentarians’ Conference on Environment and Development, which will be held in Ulaanbaatar city on October 28-30.


“More than 30 thousand Mongolian citizens are living, studying in the ROK for short, and long period. While, nearly 3000 Korean citizens are in Mongolia. Furthermore, regular flights are being conducted between the two countries. These are facts of development of friendly ties,” Head of Mongolia-ROK parliamentary group B.Batzorig said and expressed his hope that bilaterally agreed talks would be put into actions in the future.


Expressing his gratitude to MP B.Batzorig on warmly receiving him, Mr. Won Yoo-chul briefed about the 19th Asian-Pacific Parliamentarians’ Conference on Environment and Development.


Mr. Won Yoo-chul underlined that the conference will touch issues on nature rehabilitation, climate change and air pollution. MP O.Baasankhuu attended the 18th Conference that took place in the ROK, delivering presentation on topic ‘Economy and Environment’ and he has been elected as Vice President of the Conference. He requested MP B.Batzorig as the head of parliamentary group to render assistance on successfully organizing the conference.


"Since environmental issues, especially air pollution is vital issue not only for our two countries also other countries in the world, we will render all round support," MP B.Batzorig said.
