Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Large amount of snowfall is expected in the aimags of Gobi-Altai, Zavkhan, and Bayankhongor during the daytime today on November 8.
Snow and blizzards are expected in the mountainous areas of Altai and Khangai on November 8 and 9, in the northern region on November 10, in some parts of the western and central aimags on November 11, and in most parts of the country on November 12.
Wind speed will reach 16-18 m/sec at times in most parts of the country on November 10-12.
With temperature drops in the northern region on November 10, and in most parts of the country further on, in the depression of Darkhad, in mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentei, in the head of Zavkhan river, in the basins of Ider, Tes, Orkhon, Kharaa, Yuruu, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, and Onon rivers, and near Khurenbelchir, the temperature will range from -18 to -23 degrees Celsius during the night, and -12 to -17 during the day.
In the southern Gobi region, the temperature will be -4 to -9 during the night, and -2 to +3 during the day.
In other areas, the night-time temperature will be -11 to -16 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be -2 to -7 degrees Celsius.
