Actions on national expertise improvement discussed with WTO

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Davaasuren met with Deputy Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Karl Brauner at the WTO building on November 13.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on Mongolia-WTO cooperation, multilateral trading system, pressing issues of the organization, WTO reform issues, Mongolia’s participation in multilateral trade agreements, the twelfth WTO Ministerial Conference to take place in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan on June 8-11, 2020, as well as the actions being taken to strengthen national expertise.
They particularly talked about providing Mongolia with expert assistance in creating domestic laws and regulations on safeguard measures.
