Blizzard expected in most parts of the country

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Heavy snowfall is expected in the mountainous areas of Altai and Khangai on February 12, and in most parts of the country with temperature drops in the next few days.
Snowfall and blizzards are expected in western and central aimags, and northern part of eastern aimags on February 12, in southern part of western aimags, and in most parts of the central, eastern, and Gobi region on February 13, and in the southeastern part of the country on February 14.
Wind speed will reach 13-15 m/sec in most parts of the country on February 12-13, and in the Gobi region on February 14.
In the depression of Lake Uvs and Darkhad, in the head of Zavkhan river, in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, the temperature will range from -35 to -40 degrees Celsius during the night, and -20 to -25 during the day.
In mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentei, near Khurenbelchir, in the basins of Eg-Uur, Orkhon-Selenge, Kharaa, Yuruu, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, Ulz, and Khalkh rivers, the temperature will be -29 to -34 during the night, and -15 to -20 during the day.
In the southern Gobi region, the temperature will be -16 to -21 during the night, and -3 to -8 during the day.
In other areas, the night-time temperature will be -20 to -25 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be -10 to -15 degrees Celsius.
