No restriction set for Mongolian nationals to cross the border of Turkey

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassador of Turkey to Mongolia Ahmet Yazal sent a notice to Head of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Security and Foreign Policy and Head of Mongolia-Turkey Parliamentary Group T.Ayursaikhan.
In the notice, it wrote, "We are pursuing immediate actions being taken by the Government of Mongolia on prevention of COVID-19 infection. In aims of delivering statements and measures being taken by corresponding bodies of Mongolia, especially, restrictions on entry of foreign nationals into Mongolia through all border crossings with China from January 1, 2020, the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkey made an announcement as travel advice for Mongolia. There is no restriction imposed by Turkish Government regarding travels of Mongolians from every corner of the world to Turkey. The advice also does not include any suggestion for Turkish citizens for not to travel to Mongolia.
In addition, Turkish Airlines Company has been operating direct flights in route Istanbul-Ulaanbaatar thrice a week and it has willingness to add frequency of the flights further. The Turkish Airlines Company is operating its flights according to regulations by the International Civil Aviation Organization, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Turkey and the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia.
