Bike Parade to be held for Ulaanbaatar’s 381st anniversary

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On the occasion of the 381st anniversary of the foundation of Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar’s Governor’s Office and Sports Committee and Mongolian Cycling Federation will organize ‘Bike Day’ public festival on October 31, Saturday. 


The purpose of the events is to promote public sports and physical activity, develop Ulaanbaatar as a hub for Southeast Asia’s business and tourism and encourage bicycle use. 


The parade course starts from the National Park at 09 AM, covering around 16 kilometers of route and will end at the same location. 


All cyclists over the age of 16 are able participate in the parade. In addition, mountain bike and extreme trail competitions and other types of cycling events will be held on this day.
