“Invest Mongolia” int’l meeting approaching

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ This meeting will be held on September 5-6 in Shangri-La hotel, Ulaanbaatar with a key theme “Infrastructure development of Mongolia”.

Discussions will run under topics on challenge and opportunities for developing infrastructure in Mongolia, infrastructure projects on expansion of the sewage plant of Ulaanbaatar and railways, creating new sources of energy, Mongolia’s contribution to the “One region, one road” project initiated by China, the Mongolia-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement, a management on the new international airport of Ulaanbaatar in Khoshig Valley and projects on the 5th thermal power station.

Chris Melville, the representative of the Hogan Company to Mongolia will host the meeting which is expected to attract T.Gantulga, the Vice Minister of Energy; and B.Byambasaikhan, executive director of the “Erdenes MGL” LLC. A columnist B.Batbayar /Baabar/ will deliver a report entitled “What actions could be taken by government in order to overcome economic crisis” on the second day of the meeting.

To be hosted by the executive director of the Moody’s Investors Service Company, sub-meetings will be held with themes on the economic and budgetary situations, priority policies of the new cabinet for next four years, advantages and disadvantages of the International Monetary Fund’s Standby Program and ways of financing projects on green development and renewable energy.
