Dalai Lama arrives in Ulaanbaatar
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama arrived at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport at 16.00 on November 18. According to a source, the Dalai Lama was welcomed by the Khamba of Gandantegchinlen Monastery of Ulaanbaatar D.Choijamts. The Buddhist leader is greeting with the Mongolian faithful at the outside yard of the Temple of Janraisig of the Gandantegchenlin Monastery at 13.00 of Saturday.
On Sunday between 09.30 and 11.30, he will give a lecture at UB Palace. On Monday, November 21, the Dalai Lama is taking part in a discussion themed “Sciences and Teaching of the Buddha” at the Central Palace of Culture.
The visit will last until Wednesday. In the morning of November 22, the Dalai Lama is calling a press conference.
The University of Agriculture will award him a Honorary Doctor title.
