Foreign Minister Battsetseg to Pay Official Visit to Thailand

Ulaanbaatar, April 22, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Foreign Minister of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh will pay an official visit to the Kingdom of Thailand on April 22-24, 2024, at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara.


The visit is remarkable as it is being implemented on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Thailand, as well as the first visit at the level of the Foreign Minister of Mongolia to Thailand in 14 years.


During the visit, Foreign Minister Battsetseg will hold official talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Thailand Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, and meet with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Phumtham Wechayachai and other political and business representatives.


At the official talks and meetings, the two sides will review and assess the five decades of friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, exchange views on expanding trade, investment, and economic cooperation, and discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest.
