Mongolian Writers to Take Part in Beijing International Book Fair

Ulaanbaatar, June 18, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Mongolian writers will hold an event to meet with the readers on
June 19, 2025, at the Culture and Information Center of the Embassy of Mongolia
to the People’s Republic of China.
Writers, including Honored Cultural Worker Sarantuya Byamba, initiator of the “Ulaanbaatar
Book Fair” and Editor-In-Chief of the “Nomiin Yertunts” magazine B. Suvd, founder
of the “Libro Suvd” literary agency, translator and editor B. Erdenebayar, and
representatives of publishing companies will participate in the meeting. The event
is special as it is organized within the framework of the Beijing International
Book Fair 2025, to be held from June 18 to June 22, 2025.
A total of 550 Chinese domestic publishing companies and 1,050 foreign organizations participated in the Beijing International Book Fair 2024. The fair, founded in 1986, has become the second-largest book fair in the world. This year, 71 national and 1,600 local publishing companies are participating with over 220,000 books.
