Mongolian climber summits Mt Manaslu for the first time
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On the morning of September 25, Mongolian climber B.Batbold reached the summit of the Manaslu Mountain in Nepal, becoming the first Mongolian person to climb the eighth highest mountain in the world at 8,163 meters above sea level.

Mongolia’s 17 athletes have been qualified to receive Olympic Scholarships for Athletes ‘Tokyo 2020’. As a result of candidature submission by the Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MNOC) and sports’ federations for the consideration of the athletes, 17 athletes have been chosen to be involved in the International Olympic Committee’s Olympic Solidarity Scholarships.
