Gold purity testing machines granted

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Sustainable Artisanal Mining Project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) handed over two gold purity testing machines equaled to MNT 45 million to the Mongolian Agency for Standard and Metrology on January 26.

The testing machine calculates precious metals purity fast and shows a reliable results.

The Sustainable Artisanal Mining Project has been cooperating with the Department of Inspection of Precious Metal Samples at the Mongolian Agency for Standard and Metrology in directions of improving its technique performances and empowering workers since 2013. For instance, the Department received a gold smelting induction furnance of Italian TopCast brand from the Sustainable Artisanal Mining Project in 2017.
