Multinational exercise Khaan Quest gathers 1400 troops from 52 countries

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The annual multinational peace support operations exercise ‘Khaan Quest’ is taking place on June 14-28 at the Five Hills Training Area.
This year, over 1400 troops from 26 countries are taking part in the ‘Khaan Quest- 2018’ including Australia, the U.S., Nepal, Bangladesh, Belarus, China, South Korean, Turkey, India, Bhutan, he United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Canada, Malaysia, Qatar, Mongolia, Russia, Hungary, the Philippines, France, Germany, New Zealand and Japan.



Over the past years, about 13800 troops from 52 countries of five continents participated in the ‘Khaan Quest’ exercise. Additionally, military observers from Bhutan and a company from Qatar are participating in the Khaan Quest 2018 for the first time.

In the frames of the Khaan Quest 2018, a number of exercises will be organized such as command post exercise, field training exercise, Special Forces training, riverine crossing, improvised explosive device detection and disablement and civilian protection.
