Action plan for cooperation signed between NEMA and Emergency Department of Zabaykalsky KraiSociety
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the General Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Zabaykalsky Krai held a meeting in Chita, Russia to review the performance of their cooperation in 2018 and to approve the action plan for 2019. The Mongolian delegation included officials of NEMA and representatives of municipal and some local emergency departments.
The sides exchanged views on their last year’s achievements in cooperation for border protection and disaster risk prevention, best practices in disaster restoration as well as some disaster situations, then signed the 2019 action plan for cooperation between the two bodies.
Moreover, the Mongolian delegation received information on the most frequently occurring disasters and got acquainted with tactical and special training activities and rescue equipment of the General Emergency Directorate.
