Japanese arts and culture promoted

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On May 18, on the occasion of International Museum Day, Japanese painting, calligraphy, haiku, embroidery and decorative arts performances and sake label craft festival was organized by Mongolian National Art Gallery in collaboration with Japanese artists .


To encourage the friendly ties between Mongolia and Japan and their arts and cultural cooperation, the Japanese artists’ exhibition is conducted annually in the gallery. This time the exhibition was dedicated to the historic event that Japan enters a new era and over 250 works by over 200 artists were presented to the viewers through sake label.


The exhibition promoted Japanese arts and culture to some 400 viewers in different forms.
