Some lands in Ulaanbaatar taken as state special-use lands

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On August 28, the Cabinet decided to acquire a 10 ha land in Baganuur District of Ulaanbaatar under state special use in order to build a hazardous waste facility as well as to take 22 ha land around the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant in Songinokhairkhan District and ash handling tank of the Thermal Power Plant 4 to treat and bury sewage sludge. Their position of a geographic location, size and boundaries were also redefined. 


Ts.Gankhuu, Head of the Agency for Land Administration and Management, Geodesy and Cartography was assigned to register the special use area information to the national database of cartography. The authorities of Ulaanbaatar city were also charged with a task determine the safety zone within one kilometer outside the boundary of the forenamed lands and ensure prevention of using the lands for human settlement, agriculture, trade, industry, amenity and other activities.
