Crimes increase
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Nationwide, some 19 thous. crimes were registered in the first eight months of this year, showing 1,392 or 7.9% increase against the previous year.
This happened due to a number of crimes against the right of ownership (1,206), domestic violence (246), against the rules of safety of traffic, use of motor vehicles (110), financial crimes (237).
Some two thous. crimes were registered, decreasing 148 or 6.0% against the previous month. Consequently, 7,319 people were injured, 737 died. A number of the injured increased 438 or 6.4%, the death cases--by 15 people or 2.1%.
