“Mongolia-Canada relations brought into newer level”

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the fields of the 70th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Mongolia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren Tuesday met Mr Christian Paradis, Canada’s Minister for International Development and La Francophonie, to share views on the bilateral relations and cooperation.

Purevsuren said the Mongolia-Canada relations and cooperation have been brought into a newer level and emphasized Mongolia's willingness to boost these ties not only in the mining, but also in other spheres.

He said that a working out of a draft intergovernmental agreement on support and mutually protection of investments has entered a final stage. To this Mr Paradis underlined an importance of his country’s decision to involve Mongolia in a list of countries who receive official developmental assistance. He also announced another decision about implementing several projects within the official development assistance.
