Nat’l council about preparation for ASEM Summit
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 9th meeting of the National council for the 2016 ASEM Summit preparation considered a budget for the 2016 preparation, foreign assistance and support, cars for foreign delegates, and the event-related roads to be constructed this year.
It has been planned to allot money from the state budget and from foreign aid for hosting the Summit and related to it events. After the gathered got familiarized with all matters, the council chair Ch.Saikhanbileg PM told them to solve money needed for purchasing cars and road repaire, without making a trouble for the state budget.
Among five countries Mongolia has asked to give an aid, China is ready give airport and hotels furniture, facilities and tools for translation and ceremonial measures, and South Korea--to assist by providing facilities for meetings and by running hotel management trainings. Replies from other states are still awaited regarding issues of safety and medical facilities.
It has been also decided to repair roads, run new drainage, and install illumination along the streets that go between hotels and conference buildings involved.
