Ch.Mongondalai completes full round-Mongolia-trip
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A cyclist Ch.Mongondalai returned to Ulaanbaatar on November 24 after spending 136 days on a 5,000km trip around the eastern aimags of Mongolia. This is how the deaf-and-mute cycler completed a full round-Mongolia-trip of 11,200 km on a bicycle within two years and has become a record holder.
In 2014, he passed through more than 210 soums of 13 aimags and cruised 6,200 km track within 167 days. This time, he passed Tov (Central), Khentii, Dornod, Sukhbaatar, Dundgovi, Dornogovi, Omnogovi and Govisumber aimags, Nalaikh city, Baganuur and Bayankhangai districts, over 60 settlements and three border lines.
The record for the longest round-Mongolia-trip on bicycle and by a disabled person now belongs to Ch.Mongondalai.
