Young volunteers from Turkey working with Mongolian pupils
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Turkish young volunteers from “I in Society” community are visiting Mongolia November 24-December 1 to give social development training at the 61st secondary school of Chingeltei district, Ulaanbaatar.
The volunteers are to give pupils lessons on design and development, drawing, music, dances and developing of short films. This community has more than 300 members, comprising university students, and implements various projects on discovering talents and abilities of children aged 7-13. The volunteers have been to Gambia, Macedonia and other countries.
Here the volunteers attended a business lunch on November 26 with the Ambassador of Turkey to Mongolia Murat Karagoz, the Governor of Chingeltei district D.Ganbold, director of the 61st school A.Monkhchimeg, officials from the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA), media representatives and Mongolian alumni of Turkish universities.
