Crimes go up in 2015

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At a national level, 27,757 crimes were registered in throughout all months of 2015, reflecting an increase of 439 crimes or 1.6% against 2014.

This increase was mainly due to crimes against the right of ownership (894) and economic crimes (94) against 2014.

In December of 2015, 2,590 crimes were registered, showing an increase of 43 crimes or 1.7% against November.

Due to these crimes, 11,287 people got injured and 847 people died. The number of the injured went up by six or 0.1%, whereas the death cases declined by 231 people or 21.4% compared to the same period of 2014.
